Route Sigulda Classics in Gauja National Park

The route is Sigulda Classics in Gauja National Park is 12 km long, with the opportunity to see Sigulda and its nearby nature during the spring bloom. Along the route you will see Gutman's Cave  which is a place with many ancient legends, the Pedestrian bridge over the Gauja river, which leads to an interesting nature trail along the river, the Devil's Cliffs and the Devil's Cave, which is an ancient cult site. Opposite the Cliff, there is a picnic area to take in the fresh air and take in the spectacular view of the rock outcrops. The route is circular, the return route will take you through the Krimulda forests and trails, with the opportunity to continue down the romantic Krimulda Serpentine Road.

Route Sigulda-Allaži-Sigulda

On the Sigulda - Allaži - Sigulda route you will be able to see the Černausku Great Oak, which is 6.9m wide and the impressive Černausku Cult Stone, to which the peasants have made donations for several centuries. The springs of the Kaļķugrava(Mežmuiža) are a wonderful place to stop and see the breathtaking view of nature. The springs flow from the Kaļķugrava slope and, depending on the amount of precipitation, the number of springs varies from 3 to 14 springs. They are unique in that the springs here produce source lime. Downstream of the springs, the bottom of the mill pond is colored in a peculiar green tint. As Mežmuiža springs have a very steep fall, a watermill had been installed here. In the mill, made of travertine, the father's brother of the sculptor Teodors Zalkalns worked there. It is also a very popular place for winter swimmers. Allaži Evangelical Lutheran Church, built in 1926 and a national architectural monument, will also be on the route. If you have not been in Allaži, this is probably the best time to go and see the different nature objects Allaži has to offer!

Sigulda-Murjāņi-Sigulda

The 30 km long route Sigulda - Murjāņi - Sigulda is a great challenge for those who cycling is not a daily activity. The route will take you through the most beautiful trails of Sigulda and its surroundings, forests, along the river Gauja itself. There will be an opportunity to see  Emperor's Chair view, which offers a delightful view of the Gauja river, Ziedlejas Cliffs, where you can see red two-level sandstone cliffs, Katlapu rock, which offers an exciting view of the Gauja. There is also a picnic area to relax, enjoy the scenery and the forest all around. Have you found the Big Stone(Lielais akmens)? On the return route, it is hidden near the bank of the Gauja on the Krimulda side, the Kubesele Trail, which has to be crossed either way. The route also includes the Pedestrian bridge over Gauja river, which is the "home" for many photo seekers.

The Gauja National Park is a place of fresh air and outstanding natural diversity. Be active, be in the nature and keep healthy!
