A sight worth seeing in the Turaida Museum Reserve is the typical Vidzeme manor located there. Initially the estate’s administrative centre was created in the yard of the medieval castle, but then grew through the centuries. 15 buildings have survived to the present day, of which some are more than 200 years old.
