When you are planning a trip to Latvia or any other place it is important to find all necessary information about the country. After arrival in Airport Riga take a taxi or a local bus to city Riga. Time table for bus from airport to Riga you will find here. Hop off on 13 Janvāra Street in front of a supermarket Stockmann. On the right side is located Central bus station, but on the left side you will find Central train station. The bus and the train take about 1 hour and 15 minute to go to Sigulda from Riga. Ticket price for both is the same, approximately 1.55 LVL if you take a bus from Riga bus station to Sigulda bus station or 1,90 LVL if you take a bus from Riga bus station to Sigulda bus stop on highway A2.

Sigulda is located only 53 km away from capital Riga and 39 km away from city Cēsis. Sigulda is included in the territory of Gauja National Park and is one of the most visited tourism areas in Latvia. You will be charmed by three historical centers with medieval castles, geological objects, unique activities, recreation and spa facilities, hiking, cycling and many more things.
