Time to book a table!

The Sigulda Region Restaurant Week kicks off on 11-20 November and runs for ten days during the National Holidays. Autumn is the harvest and root season. The right moment to introduce into the menu fresh roots from our fertile land, and a time to celebrate the founding of our country! This is the time of our own roots!

And that opens the residents and guests of Sigulda and its region a great opportunity to taste nourishing and versatile dishes this week.

The menus of “Our Roots” Week will differ from the range of dishes offered by restaurants on a day-to-day basis. The restaurants’ offers stand out for their rich textures and seasonal flavours – sturgeon broth soup with fish selection and crayfish tails, pearl chicken breast with autumnal roots and country sour cream or roast beetroot with goat’s cheese represent only some of the specialities on offer. Sigulda Region chefs will be serving vegetarian snacks and main courses, along with a variety of meat and fish culinary dishes. You can expect some compliments as well as some amazing-looking and tasting desserts.

Six restaurants are ready to welcome gourmets: “Gadalaiki”, “Kungu rija”, the restaurant of Hotel Sigulda, the restaurant of the Mālpils Manor, the gastro grill bar “Kokos” and, as usual, the restaurant of the Bīriņi Castle Manor.

Sigulda Region restaurants have also arranged contests for gourmets with a chance to win a special dinner offer for 2 persons in one of the restaurants, while the Mālpils Manor welcomes you to experience the magical charm of a special overnight stay.

Check out the offer and choose your favourite meal. Follow the Restaurant Week activities on the social media profile under the name “Sigulda aizrauj”.

Please be advised that before visiting your selected restaurant, we recommend you make a reservation in advance by contacting the relevant restaurant.
