From 1 May to 30 September, the Latvian Association of Castles, Palaces and Manors is holding a campaign, inviting people to visit Latvia’s ancient heritage – castles, palaces and manors, which have been lovingly cherished and preserved for our generations and generations to come.
This year, 60 castles, palaces and manors are taking part in the campaign, including Sigulda New Castle and Sigulda Livonian Order Castle, where campaign visitors will have the opportunity to get the castle seal by completing questions and photo orienteering tasks. You are welcome to register your arrival at the historical landmark by filling in the Travellers’ card, which can be downloaded and printed from the website: https://www.pilis.lv/en/, from the Facebook social account: “Latvian Association of Castles, Palaces and Manors” or by visiting any of the castles, palaces and manors, where it will be possible to receive a printed participant’s card.
Having visited more than half of the castles, palaces, and manor houses, at the end of the campaign, the participants may send in a registration form with the check marks and participate as one of the invited guests at the closing party of the campaign, and at the same time each valid participant form will be eligible for the final prize draw. Please be reminded to keep an eye on the opening hours and visiting regulations of each castle and manor, considering that there are closed events during the summer season taking place as well.
