A holiday home surrounded by ponds in a beautiful location, only 7 km from Sigulda, also called “The little Switzerland of Latvia”, for a tranquil and carefree holiday with your family.
“Vāverlejas” fits perfectly into every family’s holiday plans, as the private homestead with its large grounds and two-storey log sauna house combines different choice of leisure and recreational activities. For a quiet holiday, you can relax in the sauna and hot tub on the spacious sauna terrace. While the more active will be able to engage in water fun, boat trips and fishing. Gourmets will have the opportunity to cook their catch in the nearby fish ponds on the gas or wood grill, or create a chef’s meal in our smokehouse.
The log sauna house is equipped with everything you need for a perfect relaxation and meal preparation. On the first floor there is a kitchen and dining area, a lounge for chilling out, as well as a wet sauna, toilet and shower. On the second floor there is a sleeping area with five beds – 1 double bed and 3 single beds, as well as a small terrace. There are also 5 extra beds that we can provide on request. Free wi-fi is also available.
The area is surrounded by 3ha of ponds with a rich biodiversity of fish. Carp, bream, pike, tench, roach, perch and even crayfish can be found in “Vāverlejas” – from juvenile fish to big catches that will surprise even experienced anglers.
