The stories of rafters on the Gauja and by the fire with Ansi Mitrevicu, or “Gaujas damp.” The pre-booking offers exclusive and extreme boat adventures, hiking in wonderful nature, rental of rafts and boats.
In addition – on the shore of Gauja (Sigulda, Peldu Street 2, on the left bank of Gauja, downstream of the bridge) there is a unique exhibition – the story of Gauja Plostnieks, which tells the story of an ancient trade – flooding of trees – it`s also on the list of Latvian intangible cultural Heritage. Here you can get to know the history of floating trees and see a real tail raft house with its inheritance, as well as try your own hand in tying rafts and other activities typical of the craft.
