Hotel Sigulda offers 43 rooms, restaurant, recreation complex with sauna, steam bath, spa bath and pool. The hotel complex is a unique 19th century stone building.
Hotel “Sigulda” was built in 1889, when the Riga-Petersburg railroad was created, which encouraged more people to take holidays away from Riga. The nobleman Nikolaj Kropotkin (1872-1939) developed Sigulda as a popular tourism destination. Since reconstruction in 1998, the historical building has begun to function again after a break of many years.
The restaurant situated in the premises of the hotel is open every day, offering lunch in the summer, dining on the restaurant’s summer terrace, overlooking the park, and enjoying the atmosphere of a 19th-century building in winter. The menu is dominated by European cuisine, which is freshly prepared from top quality products. After long walks in Sigulda, dip into the pool’s refreshing water and enjoy the healing spirit of the steam bath! The Sigulda recreation complex offers a sauna, steam bath, and swimming pool (28 m2) with a massage system.
