JUNE
On June 10, British musician Michael Kiwanuka will perform on the stage of Sigulda castle ruins, along with his accompanying composition and heart-touching songs, creating pleasant emotions for the visitors. Kiwanuka uses the creative language of music to express his opinion and express his position. His songs are a personal dedication to African American culture.
On June 18, Latvian band “The Sound Poets” will perform on the stage of Sigulda castle ruins, performing the compositions of the association’s latest studio album “At One Fire” and other favorite and well-known songs.
Placebo concert on June 22. British alternative rock stars “Placebo” in the picturesque Sigulda castle ruins as part of the tour of the latest, eighth album, and it should be reminded that the Riga show, which took place 6 years ago, was well attended.

JULY
Latvian singer Dons concert on July 1 and 2. With the publication of the song “Your Touch”, the musician Don has announced the upcoming album and open-air concert “Touch”, which will take place on the stage of Sigulda castle ruins. Musician Dons is one of the listeners’ favorite contemporary artists in Latvia. Dons has released eight solo albums and has several music awards in his account – four times won the Latvian Radio Music Bank’s nomination “Song of the Year” and six times won the Latvian Music Record of the Year award in the nomination “Rado hits”.

BALTICA music festival concerts in Sigulda region from 6 to 10 July . The festival has been held in one of the Baltic States since 1987, in cooperation with state and municipal institutions, as well as non-governmental organizations. In Latvia, it will take place for the 12th time and will bring together ethnographic ensembles, folklore and folk dance groups, folk musicians, masters of applied arts, craftsmen and storytellers, as well as common cultural heritage from the Baltic States.

Sigulda International Opera Music Festival From July 29 to 31 for the 28th time, Sigulda Castle of the Livonian Order will become the venue for one of the most outstanding musical events in Latvia – the International Sigulda Opera Music Festival. Visitors to the festival will see both a reunion with artists who have already played in Sigulda and musical surprises – world opera soloists, who will be on the stage of the Sigulda Opera Music Festival for the first time.
AUGUST
James Arthur Concert on Augusts 24th. James Arthur has been writing songs since he was a teenager, but he first became known when he won Season 9 of the British X Factor in 2012 with his hit “Impossible”. The track remains the biggest-selling single in the show’s history. James Arthur’s previous performance in Latvia – at Lucavsala in Rīga – in May 2018 was attended by around 30 000 people. This summer, the musician will perform with a new concert programme in Sigulda.
