Next to the Fischer ski center forest trail has been created and marked, which at spring, summer, and autumn season is available for everyday training and tournaments. This forest trail is meant for everyone who wants to spend their time in the fresh air walking, stick walking, running, or cycling.  Every trail starting and ending point is Fischer Cross-Country Ski Centre.

In total there are five marked forest trails of different distances and difficulty. Starting from 2km to even 16km. Trails created based on the longest trail 16km, with the possibility to choose several loops that will shorten the route to the desired length: 2 km, 4 km, 8 km, or 12 km.

  • 2 km trail with an elevation gain of up to 37 meters, trail marks – white arrow on a green background.
  • 4 km trail with an elevation gain of up to 88 meters, trail marks – white arrow on yellow background
  • 8 km trail with an elevation gain of up to 140 meters, trail marks – white arrow on blue background
  • 12 km trail with an elevation gain of up to 188 meters, trail marks – white arrow on purple background
  • 16 km trail with an elevation gain of up to 225 meters, trail marks – white arrow on brown background

  • Forest trail markings are coordinated with the Nature Protection Board and private owners whose territories the track crosses.
  • All established routes are located in a specially protected natural area, its visitors must follow the law of the Gauja National Park and the individual rules of protection and use of the Gauja National Park.
  • Track visitors are prohibited from polluting and littering the environment with waste. To observe the principle – “When walking in nature, take what you bring with you”.
